You say you've been trying to send my monthly royalty pittance since March but can't get it in my electronic account. Three times you've called, given me instructions, three times I've entered the numbers at least 10 other firms pay me at (including Advantage) and saved them, and the same B.S. again and again. What is wrong with you folks? The numbers are right. Please fix and email me the result.

Hei Lee,

Are you still having troubles with your payments? If not, please inform the forum what you did wrong. Or, inform when you get your money.

We've started out publishing on LULU, and are looking on Amazon as a distribution platform. But, someone suggest that there is fiffling with accounts on Amazon. Have you heard rumours about this?

How many platforms do you publish on globally? Would you name them to all of us, so our books can spread out in other law-areas?

Yours, DJ SKIPPER

Hello lee,

Someone from amazon will contact you regarding the status of your payments.

I have a similar issue.

I have one transaction on one of my titles (only 1 sale so far). Amazon informed me of my royalty of 2 dollars and some change. This was in early October and was on the October report. However, due to the fact that I had published the title twice, I shut down one of the duplicates (the title that sold). I have not seen my 2 dollars, and the REPORTS say that I do not have any YTD sales.

The October sales reports don't show up yet. This happens every month; don't worry about it.

Your October sales will soon show up again. I just experienced this temporary "blackout" of report content for the first time, but a few days later (4-5 days, to be exact) it showed up again in a downloadable Excel format, nice and neat.

With respect to receiving your first royalties due, check Paragraph 6 of your Terms and Conditions. I believe it will explain why you may not yet have received payment. It says, in part:

"6. Payment Terms. We will pay Royalties approximately sixty (60) days following the end of the calendar month during which applicable sales of Digital Books occur. …We will accrue and withhold payments until the total amount due is at least $10, provided, however, that we may make a payout of all accrued amounts at any time in our discretion."

Sounds like you will need to wait for more sales to take place before receiving monies.

Good luck! As many issues and frustrations as we think we have with DTP publication, it beats traditional publishing by a country mile.

I have heard folks complain about getting paid on here in the past. Usually it is because they haven't made the $10 minimum to receive a payment yet.

I personally receive my payment on time (or early) every month. Amazon pays us 60 days after the last day of the month. I usually see my payment 3 or 4 days before the 60 days. That is the only reason why I sell my books on here. My books sell, and I get paid.
