I wanted to start a thread to help promote our books. I’ll list my titles for tagging. Then you list yours and I’ll tag them. I’ll keep a running list of everyone’s titles and we will all tag each other.

Here are mine:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/tags-on-product/1448609887/ref=tag_dpp_cust_edpp_sa

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/tags-on-product/B003VRZLFI/ref=tag_dpp_cust_edpp_sa

http://www.amazon.com/Cumberland-Plateau-Prejudice-Modern-ebook/dp/B002LE8CGW/ref=pd_sim_kinc_1?ie=UTF8&m=AG56TWVU5XWC2

http://www.amazon.com/Cumberland-Plateau-Prejudice-Modern-Sequel/dp/1440458561/ref=tmm_pap_title_0

Katie

PS: I forgot to add, this is so popular in the CS Community that I wanted to bring it to DTP

Message was edited by: katie_baxley

I really thought I'd made it

But this morning I found that Apple had removed all of my books from the Ibook store, and it wasn't just me. I couldn't find Ann's "Becoming" book anymore. This really sucks big time, I really thought I'd made it big.

Carl

Why do people call it SPAM when its a PUBLIC forum

If someone posts an ad for something in a forum it is annoying for certain, but is it spam? Does it inturde into your system via a pop up or an e-mail? Or did you choose to join the PUBLIC forum and now have to deal with the commercials and billboards that come along with every thing else that is FREE out there. You see ads on your drive, hear them on your radio and YES see them in discussion threads, but is it spam or just part of the world we live in. If you want a SPAM FREE Forum then go to a pay site and pay to avoid it, but if you are here on ANY thread for ANY reason and you think that someones industrious self promotion is spam then you are WRONG. This is a PUBLIC FORUM and You DO NOT HAVE TO BE HERE. If you dont like the posts go elswhere, but quit calling people who have the guts and material to advertise where they can spammers. They did not intrude into your system and you can scroll right passedtheir advertismnts if your not interested. Thoughts???

For Mr. Mathias

Having viewed your synopsis of a fantasy novel on nearly every thread I have visited over the past several days, I thought to write to you and suggest that you are using the wrong forum for your promotional efforts. It is quite arrogant and discourteous to use everyone's personal subject matter and the threads discussion about their topic, as a place holder for your advertisement. Why don't you try the Kindle forum. They routinely advertise their latest releases and your technique would fit in perfectly.

I for one would never even visit your link as a result of the intrusive method you use to badger us to death with the same message. Surely as an author, you would like to fit in with this extremely helpful group of authors. This is not the way. We all write in various genre, so fantasy is not the issue. It is your constant pummeling us with your message that offends. Of course, this might only be my personal opinion and everyone else is happy with the message . . . each time it appears.

Gordon Ryan
